Over November, Corey and I spent some time in Southern California dealing with Corey’s family. So while driving to the airport to pick up and deliver Corey’s kin, we had a chance to visit the San Diego Zoo a couple of times. This was a great time for it – the weather was cool and pleasant. Since we bought a year-long pass, we wanted to get more than our money’s worth from it. So I’m happy to report, we succeeded.
The Bird Show
We made a point of going to the Zoo’s bird show. It was a fun show and we got to see birds up close and flying freely.

A volunteer from the audience was asked to hold out a dollar bill. This large Pied Crow flew to his hand and snatched out the dollar from his fingers and then flew back to the trainer.
