This festival celebrates the music of traditional Southwestern Indian flutes. They held evening concerts and had a variety of vendors.

I only managed to see a little of the festival, but there were some very fine musicians and beautifully crafted instruments.

Jamming is the time-honored musical phenomenon that spontaneously takes place at musical festivals. Someone starts to play a song, and anyone with a musical instrument, voice, or hands can join in and play along.

It was a wonderful photo experience and a great place to be. The park was filled with the sounds of drums and didgeridoos and many different instruments from people jamming away. Children had a great time swimming in the pond, playing on the playground equipment, throwing frisbees in the air, and having as much fun as the adults there.

Festive Style

There were music classes held during the day and a concert on Saturday evening. It was colorful and laid back at the same time. The people reminded me of the bright side of the hippy generation – all here to share the good vibes of life.
