The Wild Animal Park in southern California is one of the best places to take photos of animals. However, it does help to have a telephoto lens. The animals all have a large area to roam, so it isn’t easy to catch one close up. They do have special “Photo Safari” tours that really let you near animals like the giraffes. I hope to go on one of them sometime. But there are a lot of nice photo opportunities to be found just strolling around the park.
