Welcome to the Newest version of the Flying Aardvark Ranch studio. Not only is the style very different, but I just got a new camera with a nice set of lenses. Instead of my Fuji Finepix 2700 with its 7.1 megapixels and 10 optical zoom, which I still carry all the time, I now have a Canon Rebel EOS 500D T1i with its 15 megapixels and a 55-250mm zoom. So now I can feel like I’m not just playing with photography.
Here are the first few pictures that I took with my new prize.
The Flying Aardvark Ranch is located in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains of California, just south of Yosemite National Park.
I want to share the beauty and excitement of the regions around the Ranch as well as that of the places I visit and people I meet. There is as much beauty to be seen in the smile wrinkles on a human face as there is in the veins of an Autumn leaf.
